Repair Deposits & Payment Terms

A deposit is required before any equipment can be accepted for repair or servicing.

Important Information:

• All deposits are deducted from the final repair bill.

• Reasonable labour, inspection, diagnostic and repair charges may apply.

• Additional parts and labour costs will depend on the nature of the repair.

• No equipment will be accepted for repair without the required deposit.

Estimated Repair Times

We understand the importance of getting your equipment back into operation quickly.

• Standard repairs: We aim to complete repairs as soon as possible.

• Repairs requiring ordered parts: We aim to complete repairs within one week, but is subject to supplier availability and delivery times.

Please note that these are estimated turnaround times and may vary depending on the condition of the equipment, the complexity of the repair and parts availability.

Collection & Storage Policy

Due to our limited storage facilities, we kindly ask customers to collect their equipment promptly once notified that the repair has been completed.

Large pressure washers, including hot-water, cold-water, petrol and diesel machines, must be collected on the same day or the following working day after repair completion.

Where equipment is not collected within the required timeframe, the following daily storage charges may apply:

These charges are intended to cover the cost of storing equipment beyond the agreed collection period.

IMPORTANT NOTICE – UNCOLLECTED EQUIPMENT

Equipment that remains uncollected for more than 30 days after notification of repair completion may be treated as abandoned, subject to applicable law.

Where legally permitted, Serlex Eng Ltd reserves the right to arrange for the removal, recycling or disposal of uncollected equipment, following any required notices and procedures.

Any deposit already paid may be applied towards outstanding repair, storage or recycling charges, where legally permissible.

We strongly encourage all customers to collect their equipment promptly to avoid additional charges or potential disposal.

Strict No-Dumping Policy

For safety, security and operational reasons, customers must not leave equipment at our premises without prior approval from our staff.

• Equipment that we have declined to accept for repair must not be left inside or outside our premises.

• Unauthorised dumping or abandonment of equipment is strictly prohibited.

• Serlex Eng Ltd does not accept responsibility for equipment left without authorisation, to the extent permitted by law.

• We reserve the right to report illegal dumping to the relevant authorities and take appropriate action.
